Last night we went down to the river to watch the fireworks festival. The girls were very impressed with the fireworks - they were incredible! Charlotte is one of the most inquisitive kids I've ever known. She never stops talking and asks a record number of questions every day. By the end of the day I admit I sometimes just say to her, "No more talking. No more questions." Blogging - I'm out of practice.  I have so many things I want to write down about my trip but my thoughts are scattered and I'm still exhausted.  Hopefully one more good night's sleep and I'll be feeling more perky.   In some ways, my trip seems like such a long time ago - it's such a different world there.

The girls all seemed to enjoy their supper of spagetti with meat sauce and whole grain garlic toast.  Charlotte was the last one to finish and as she walked away from the table she left a trail of parmesan cheese behind her, stuck out her belly and gave it a pat, then said, "That feels so much better!"

LOL!  What a funny little girl.

The other day I needed to 'redirect' Charlotte, and I said "Charlotte, why don't you go bug Kim, she's in her room."

She looked confused, and said "You want me go bug Timmy?"

"Yes!", I replied.

Still looking confused, she said, "Bug Tim?  Like....bzzzzz?"

Charlotte was chattering today, and each time she started saying "momomom"  I tried to catch it on video.  The first time, I wasn't so successful.

The second time....brief success, but she's a daddy's girl ;-)
